Liverpool fans continue to disgrace the club & England
Don't know if anyone saw the match yesterday, but Evra was being booed every time he touched the ball, there were Suarez t-shirts, scarfs ect... all in support of a player that has racially abused someone.
Dalglish has said in the press today that there was nothing wrong with the booing. The bloke is a cretin.

Aside from this does anyone know what happened to the police investigation that happened after the Oldham match?

Liverpool fans always have been and always will be scum.Their fault we got banned from europe and have to sit down at games.

I can't wait for football to go out of fashion again

Please mate get this on the other football forum as i for one have had a gut full of watching,listening and reading about Liverpool to last me a lifetime these last couple of weeks and no i do not want to draw them in the next round.

Rant over,sorry everyone.Keep this main discussion page Liverpool free and if enough of you agree i will have some shirts printed.

Doesn't end does it. I guess of course he was just trying to sratch his arm-pits and Evra should get used to it because, paraphrase Suarez "In liverpool, racist abuse is common and doesn't show any lack of respect and is even less so actually racist abuse..."

I should make it clear I'm not accusing the Liverpool fan of racism before the fact, merely highlighting Liverpool FC and their fans' dismissive attitude to allegations before the fact.

Liverpool's handling of the Suarez thing has been nothing short of shocking, it is hardly surprising these recent thing have happened because their club and manager seem to have given the impression that racist/bigoted behaviour is ok. I don't suppose they think it is ok for one minute, but their actions very much suggest otherwise.

As for this being on this forum, IMO it is totally relevant to NCFC given that one of our players as been a victim.

And why did bloody ITV throw more fuel on the fire by continually showing close ups of Suarez & his family - who had mysteriously dissapeared long before the end of the game.

Oh well, I see this thread got moved. Seems people can spend hours and days talking complete garbage on subjects with the most tenuous of NCFC links, and turn it all into a clique-fest, yet this which has NCFC links too because of Adeyemi's recent treatment, gets moved. Great.

We can always give him the same welcome we gave to Terry, Doglead is no better than a racist himself, and can't agree more with the poster refering to Our ban in Europe. I think Liverpool should have been kicked out of the FA cup because of the racist remarks heading towards our young TOM,

Can I just ask if any of you guys has actually read the FA report regarding the incident?

Believe me when I say that it certainly serves to dispel a shedload of the chinese whispers that have gone round about the situation.

I can actually see to a certain extent why Liverpool/Dalglish have been behind Suarez throughout, as it's nowhere near as clear cut as many seem to think, and whilst the report does agree that Suarez's use of language and behaviour is classed as 'racist', at least 1 of the independent language experts backs up Suarez's claim regarding the difference in meaning between usage in Uruguay and here, and he's fallen foul of this difference badly.

Whilst Suarez is certainly not squeaky clean, he's not the total villain he's being made out to be, and I'm guessing in Liverpool's view they think he's simply made a mistake in his use of language, which lets be fair here, is a Uruguayan using Rioplatenese Spanish to speak to a French player who admits to being able to speak casually in 'normal' Spanish but not being fluent. The chances of miscommunication are clearly high and that's Liverpool's stance here, as against them simply defending a player for deliberate racist abuse, it's more that things have been taken out of context.

This doesn't however excuse the shocking booing of Evra, who had every right to make a complaint that based on the situation at the time was fully justifiable and understandable, and following the investigation has been upheld. Evra has done nothing wrong here and deserves full respect for speaking out about what happened, the problem appears to be that the average Liverpool fan is either too stupid or too much of a thug to care about the truth...
